About the book

Trouble Brewing is a multi layered thriller. At its heart is a story about unintended consequences  and the price of doing good in a morally complex society.  Jake Maddison runs his own brewery and he leads a contented life. He is living in a fool's paradise when he makes an important discovery and his whole world is turned upside down.  His checkered past brings him up against an old foe.  When his partner threatens to leave him he decides to act. He resorts to an unorthodox and spectacular course of action which shakes the sleepy market town of Stroud to its core.  

 

His action brings him into conflict with the West Midlands Police Force.

Further conflict is unavoidable when the public gets involved. If he plays this right - everyone stands to benefit. If he gets things wrong there could be dire social consequences.
